University of Dundee – Reach Programme

Applying to study Medicine, Dentistry and Law at university is competitive, and can appear to be daunting, with the additional parts of the application process and varied entry requirements.

Dundee University’s Reach programme of events and 1-1 support will help you to explore your options and create a competitive application.  They can help support every step of the way, with the most up-to-date information.  Events are free, and run both on-campus and online over the course of 2022.  The full summer programme is available to view in the attached poster!

Any pupil interested in a career in medicine, dentistry or law in S4, S5 and S6 who meet one of the following criteria should speak to their PT PCS:

• Their home postcode being in a Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) decile 1-4 zone

• They are a carer

• They are care-experienced/a looked after child

• They are eligible for or in receipt of free school meals

NB – They consider each pupil on an individual basis. If you do not meet one of these criteria, but have faced other significant barriers that have impacted your education, please get speak to PT PCS/ Mrs Fyfe.
