Pupil Council

What pupil council is all about!

  • Pupil council libraryThe pupil council was re-established during the 2014/15 session after a couple of years without one. Our aim is to try and make the pupils more involved and express their views about the school
  • At the beginning of every new session, interviews will take place to decide the new panel of pupils, some pupils from previous years may be chosen again if they contributed and worked hard in previous sessions
  • Anybody in any year at Montrose Academy can apply to be in the pupil council
  • “It has been really good to see the changes in the school and to realize that we have the power to change things” pupil council representatives
