At the time of writing, Montrose Academy works with six cluster primary schools, all located in the town: Borrowfield, Ferryden, Lochside, Rosemount, Southesk and St Margaret’s.  We also welcome pupils from further afield. 

Life in Montrose Academy is based around four key expectations: Respect, Kindness, Safety and Trying Our Best.  I believe that if we all model this in our behaviour, then the foundations are set for effective teaching and learning to take place and for the young people of Montrose Academy to be well-prepared for life after school, whether this be further or higher education, employment or training.

The school is well supported by Montrose Academy Parent Partnership and the re-established Pupil Council.  We have developed – and are continuing to build – close working relationships with the local community and use these well to support our young people.
